Dupatta is a long, rectangular piece of cloth that is traditionally worn by women in South Asia, particularly in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. It is usually worn with traditional clothing such as the salwar kameez, lehenga choli, and saree.

While traditionally worn by women, some men in South Asia also wear a similar piece of cloth called a shawl or a stole.
